I apologize for the mundane nature of this posting, as all but a few of you can walk, and will, I think, always be able to walk. Abort a month or so ago, I put out a request for information on better 3 wheel scooters than the Pride Mobility scooter I had which was self destructing after 4 years of use. No one really had what I was looking for in the way of info, specifically makes and models of good small 3 wheel scooters. 3 or 5 or so of you asked me to report back to mention what I did. I punted, is what I did. I went back to the only place l could find that sells scooters in my part of NJ, and bought the same thing all over again! But, the Sundancer model I had, & which I bought again, appears to have been improved upon, in all the areas in which I had problems - the steering column and the wiring under the shroud. The batteries, which tend to flop around a lot, are now separated from the motor and wiring harness and should prevent most of the problems I had with the old one. Plus it's much better looking than the old one and has better lights, including turn signals and hazard flashers. It also ha a better turning radius than the old one, which enables me to refrain from bashing it into the woodwork. The clincher was the price, $2,100 vs. $3,100. I either made a terrific deal this time - or a particularly bad one last time. I think it's the later. I hope this is helpful to those who wanted the info. I have called both my old scooter and now my new one, Annette, after Annette Funicello, who is sitting on my model in the sales brochure. She has MS but is still a mighty fine looking woman at age 55+! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:[log in to unmask] In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn
