I have read in several places about that, and here are some links for Fava
and the recipes.
This one is linked to the PDF, but I also hear that the Fava beans should be
used when "fresh" and not as dried beans.
http://www.intlgourmet.com/info/favabeans.htm
and I know that Kathlyn Holden writes about it here
http://www.scienzavegetariana.it/nutrizione/favabeans.html
Ms. Holden is a registered dietitian specializing in Parkinson's disease,
and her article covers alot
of ground on FAVA beans. If you need more information than this, let me know
and I will dig some more.
