There seems to be a lot of confusion about Deborah being on or off PIEN....DEBORAH IS STILL ON AND NEVER WAS REMOVED and my apologies for adding to the confusion when I posted an email from Deborah this morning saying I was posting for her because she had been removed from PIEN.... She said her emails had been rejected at PIEN...and after receiving the two emails from John Cottingham about the Chiari topic not being within the PIEN Guidelines, well, she, we, me, most of us, etc. all believed she had been removed from the PIEN. I've been in contact with John and Deborah and Robert several times today..John has checked Deborah's listserv settings and they are correct so there is nothing there to prevent her from posting on PIEN......but....Deborah has been moved to another room so there might be a glitch with her using the computer in the new room or who knows...John has made some suggestions for her to try on her computer and we'll see what happens...it's late and we'll find out more tomorrow........ AGAIN, DEBORAH IS STILL ON THE PIEN AND WAS NEVER REMOVED. Only the Chiari topic has been discontinued. Granted, when you read the original emails, some of it doesn't sound too sympathetic for Deborah but John meant no harm. Most men don't "write with a soft touch." As co-owner, he was just trying to ensure the PIEN charter guidelines were being followed... We need to show dilligence in doing that and yet be there providing as much support as possible for Deborah and Robert....it's a balancing act but we can do it. Even though Deborah started her email to John C thinking she was being removed ...look how she signs off...
