I was first diagnosed with PD in Feb. 1995, having experienced my first symptoms in early 1994. Until that time period [1994-1995], every single year, as best as I can recall, I had the flu just about every year, a cold once and sometimes twice - winter and summer - with all the various symptoms - runny nose, headache, upset stomach sore throat, cough, diarrhea, etc. Since that time period, I cannot recall being sick ever one day. I started to realize this awhile back when I cleaned out my medicine cabinet and found all the medicine had expired years ago. Am I just "lucky" (HA!) or have others had a similar experience? I should knock on wood..but I can't find any! Ah ha - my cane - knock knock.
