Hi!
My experience is smewhat similar. I use to have flu or cold at least
two or three times a year. However, this stopped after I started taking
echinacea in 1996 or so. I had the first evident symptom of PD in 1998
although I now realize I had some symptoms of PD probaby for aboout 20-30
years. But, I was diagnozed for PD in 2000. Even after diagnosis, I had a
couple of bouts with cold in spite of my flu shots.
    My two pennies worth.
