Howdi-hi conference organizers and other Inkshedders,

I've been to both websites and both meeting sites look just fine to me.

I too am inclined toward Hockey Highlands, largely because I prefer a
single room w/ shared bath to a double room. But I would like a couple of
clarifications.

Price should assuredly an important consideration. But if I am
understanding correctly that the difference in cost between the two sites
is $20. (That's about US$14, Marcy.) I am assuming all other costs
(registration fees, airfare, etc.) will be the same at either site--is that
so? From my perspective, once I consider how much I will be paying for
airfare, ground transport in Vancouver, registration fees, etc--perhaps
$600 + room & board--the $20 difference doesn't seem very big., certainly
not the major factor in my preference.

I am having trouble thinking about the difference in travel time, though,
because I have no estimate of the time to White Oaks. Would someone
tell us, in time, about how long it takes to get to White Oaks without
traffic delays and give us a guestimate how much traffic is likely on a
Thursday (?) afternoon in May?

Like Susan, I'm a bit confused about the "package.' I'm guessing it is
just room, board and ground transportation, but a confirmation would be
helpful.

Thanks,
Rick
