To Joan Snyder, Thanks for sharing the report of your fund-raiser for Lane Evans with the list. I heard him speak once at a PD advocates meeting - about how he fought back against attempts by his opponent to make PD an issue in an earlier reelection campaign. I came away believing that with or without PD - he was one of the good guys in Congress, and wished i could vote for him or knew someone else in Illinois who could. Glad to hear the event was so successful. Can non-Illinois people (Illinoisians?) contribute to his campaign? Also, just wondering what you meant when you wrote: <<More politics for this girl?? Never say never!!!>> Fundraising or are you considering running for a poliitical office yourself? More "good guys" are always needed.
