Hello Krista, Once earlier we had discussed whether PD could be a cause of death or does it trigger symptoms that can lead to death. PD is a disease that has several side effects due to its medications. It leads to severe illhealth and loss of the immune system. So again I am not sure whether we can call PD a killer disease or not. When my Dad died 3 years back, it was due to symptoms that emerged because of his PD. He never had any health problems before his PD. So its a chicken and egg question really. Thats my understanding anyway, Take care Lavanya ----- Original Message ----- From: "Krista Schnell" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Wednesday, September 04, 2002 8:13 PM Subject: Re: A phenomenon, or just me?, Causes of death? > Hello, > I had a quick question for you or anyone out there; > It is my understanding that Parkinson's is NOT fatal.
