Hi Diana,

Regarding your question on Mirapex ... I'm NOT the expert, but I'm currently
taking Mirapex (1.5 mg, 3 x day) and Selegiline (5 mg, 2 x day), and my
neurologist has told me that the maximum dosage for Mirapex is 6 mg per day
and that many patients don't go above 4.5 mg per day.  I don't know if
that's a hard fast rule, or just a rule of thumb.

And regarding PD versus Parkinsonism, the pieno web site archives has a

You may have already done so, but I'd definitely recommend getting a second
(or third) opinion on both the prognosis and the change of medication.
