Dennis Turner had the procedure done 5 years ago and was patient 1. It was reported in Australia last year that from the preliminary results, this was a cure for Parkinsons. According to Dr. Levesque's office this was hyperbole by the newspaper.

The procedure was just authorized by the FDA for study last year and Dr. Levesque is the lead researcher in this novel idea.

Dr. Levesque was a presentation speaker at the APDA conference at Mt. Sinai last year and Linda O'Connor, the coordinator of the APDA Information and Referral Center Cedars-Sinai Medical Center permitted PIENO to make the recordings available so that you can listen online.
