Carol - Sometimes I don't know what I'm talking about, but from the few people I've talked with, who have adult care in their own homes, I believe you have to be state licensed. The state will tell you how many you can care for, and what reconstruction you have to make to have them. I sold some property to a lady who wanted to do that, and it took her several months and lotza money to get approved. However, it was worth her while. Good luck.
