As an asthmatic I have had many years of experience with flu shots.
Before the shots became available to me (20 or so years ago?), I almost
always got the flu and complications were usual. Since I started
getting the shots, I have had one very mild bout with flu and one or two
sore arms at the location of the shot.

I have had PD for at least 5 or 6 years, and have been on medication for
almost three. Last year's shot was in fact administered at the office
of my Neuro./movement disorder specialist. I would never abandon the
protection offered by the shots. The flu can be very hard on people
with asthma or any other respiratory problems. I think it would also be
more difficult for PWP.

I am curious as to what MD's who follow this list would advise.
