My mother just finished one phase of this clinical trial using this drug. She didn't know whether she was given a placebo or the new drug, but now she thinks she had the new drug because shortly after she stopped taking it, her diskinesias returned much worse than when she was taking the new drug. She will continue on another phase of this study next month, she wants to continue taking the meds for her diskinesias because she has seen good results. The close monitoring that takes place during the study is good.
