Although I do not have PD, I am 48 years old. Night blindness can be an
aging degenerative problem with the eyes, too.
2 years ago, I began taking one of the best anti-oxidant formulas on the
market. I noticed a pretty good improvement in my night vision after about
a month, and can now drive at night in the rain with confidence.
One of the ingredients is Bilberry. Bilberry(cousin to our blueberry in the
US) was used for night blindness which came to light during World War II
when English bomber pilots reported an increase in their night vision after
eating bilberry jam. This is pretty well documented .
Make certain you purchase a good extract.
Bilberry extract is available in health food stores.
There are extacts that are good, and there are ones that I would not touch.
If you want more info, let me know. Keep in mind, I do not have PD, but
was experiencing some night blindness before I began the supplementation.
