Ray,
This Botox deal really looks good! Have you noticed any more subtile
improvement since Wednesday? This is really exciting, and you are sort
of on the front lines of this treatment, yes?

RE: CQ10, I asked my Neuro group at USC(sorry for the blasphemy) and
they told me;
" You can access the website: www.vitalinecoq10.com
The study recommends 1200 mg of CoQ10 a day. Dr. Lew has already
checked out the various suppliers of CoQ10 and the best price he has
found has been from this company, who actually made the CoQ10 for the
study. The CoQ10 comes in 300 mg chewable tablets with 60 tablets per
bottle. You would have to take 1 tablet three times a day, and they
cost $100.00 per bottle. There is a $7.00 shipping charge. You would
have to buy two bottles a month, so that's $200.00 a month, which is not
covered by insurance. We recommend only buying one bottle at first just
to make sure it's something you can tolerate and stick to."
(I haven't decided whether to give it a try yet or not. I'll let you
know if I do, and we can perhaps compare notes)

We got home from Arizona at about midnight on Wed, and yesterday was a
complete wash out. There is a really good reason for my exhaustion.
Today is a bit better, but I am conserving energy in hopes tomorrow will
be a "top o the line" good day.. Have to drop husband at LAX by 7am; he
is going to the Big Island for a conference and is taking his TRUNKS AND
FINS. I wonder how many sessions he will actually attend?

Then, I'm supposed to be at Good Samaritan Hospital in downtown L.A. at
8:30 for a Movement Disorder update series I signed up for in a week
ago. I hate down town, and hardly ever go there. I get breakfast and
lunch and the thing is free, so I guess it won't be a total loss . If
there is anything that really sounds new, I will report, of course.

I have another report in the works, and am trying to decide whether to
send it t only you and Edith, or to all the TB.Bunch ( I'm not sure that
name won't soon get confused with the nasty disease with the same
initials.) All I can say right now is that I RODE A MULE (hence total
wipe out) all the way down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back up
again the next day. I must be out of my mind and I am trying to remember
it in vivid detail so I can share my insanity with friends.

By the way, I saw your TB Club note to Mama Bear and Cubs. Phooey!

Personally, I am not particularly involved with the bear acquisitions,
but don't mind, and am able to toss in a bears worth or two when ever
needed. I certainly don't feel that I have taken part in any of the
decisions that have been made so far, but I am enjoying Edith's
enthusiasm quite a lot. It seems to be nicely therapeutic.

This thing is not just about about bears anyway, but about some
extremely nice people we have come to know, who care about others and
who want to bring a bit of light or comfort to people who are worse off
than themselves. It is a bit like a mini, sort of sub-list. You guys
are super and I like you a lot. If I have anything to share with the
bunch, there is no way, no how, I would ever leave your name off the
list. In truth, I rarely send email to the whole group anyway, and
Most of my correspondence, and occasional phone calls, are posted to you
and/or Edith, and infrequently to Joan and Bunny.

At the moment, I'm trying NOT to earn a bear for myself. So far so good!
Please keep me posted on progress, I am hoping and doing that other
quasi religious thing in your honor.
fondly, Nancy(e)
