Dear Pam,
I definitely recommend that you try OISE at U of T. There are a number of
writing specialists at OISE now, including myself. Guy Allen gives a course
called Expressive Writing: Practice and Pedagogy, and I give a course
called Writing as a Way of Knowing: A Theoretical Inquiry. Guy and I also
supervise a number of grad students who are pursuing research into writing
and writing pedagogy. There is also focus group in Adult Ed. at OISE that
