Hi Sandy,
I'm Paula from Pennsylvania, 48, have had to give up working, had
successful DBS two years ago, but I feel like I've had to give up all the
things that gave me a reason for living. I am very grateful that I have
such an intelligent husband and two beautiful blonde daughters, 23 and 21.
I was 128 lb... Now I am 183+.
It's because I can't walk whereas I was on myfeet 18 hour days when I
co-owned and operated our family business. I was in charge of the back of
the house - kept on the grill so orders would get done right and timely. I
also did payroll, accounts payable, ordering of uniforms, three loads of
towels daily, and maintained a home with two children, two dogs,a cat, and
fish. Now after being out of the business almost six years, I'm not much
more than an embarrassment. I don't look nice in my clothes anymore, I am
not supposed to drive if not necessary, I can't go grocery or Xmas shopping
alone. I had beautiful handwriting I was so proud of. Now I can't read my
own signature. So...I eat...and that's not helping either.
So if ER helps in any way, I'm for it.
