My first symptoms of PD were tremor and dizziness. A year ago, I began falling while walking and running into walls. After many, many tests to rule out other diseases, I was diagnosed with PD. I began taking Requip in May -- 12 mg a day -- and that has helped somewhat; however, physical therapy helped the most. The physical therapist taught me things to do to avoid falling. However, I never climb on anything -- I don't trust my balance. Good luck!! I've almost had to stop driving I get so dizzy and disoriented, and have been battling the terrible dizziness for years. Even tried meclizine but it didn't help. Is this possibly a symptom of PD? I was diagnosed with PD a couple of months ago, but I'm still learning what PD really means. IF dizziness is a symptom of PD, is there anything that can be done about it? It's about to keep me from driving now it's so baad, and I've had several close calls. And trying to stand on a stool to change a light bulb is downright suicidal for me now. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
