I would recommend an adjustable bed with silk sheets.  You'll never get 8
hrs. of sleep again, but you'll adjust to it.  Try taking a vitamin
B-complex before bed each night.  It supposedly increases serotonin levels
which are important for a good snooze.  It seems to work for me.
