Dr. Michel Lévesque, Director of the NeuroFunctional Surgery Center at
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California,  will be
interviewed and answer call-in  questions on the Web radio program-
Travels With Parkinsons. He will be on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 7 pm to 8
pm EST.
Dr. Levesque has developed an experimental Parkinson's treatment using an
adult's own neural stem cells, which are cultured to grow into mature,
dopamine-producing neurons and then reimplanting them into the patient.
Only one patient has been treated so far.  He currently is preparing for
a phase II clinical trial of this process .
