Ron ,
You are so right about B-`12 and its importance. Without it your body can't
make enough red cells to get enough oxygen to the the rest of the body. The
hemoglobin number when your blood is tested is the real watch dog on this.
If it is really low like ll or 12. Dizziness and lightheadness could be
common not to mention lots of Fatigue. Antacids can neutralize the stomach
acids to prevent its B-12 absorption and cause deficiencies. So including
juices, yogurt, and fruits in the diet would be good to do to help prevent
this. Getting a shot or taking daily B-12 vitamins seems to be warranted
with such neurological dieseases as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. A simple
blood test would show the bodies ability to use iron, absorb B-12 and
Folic Acid - the absence of any of these could be a cause of and anemic
situation and resulting fatigue.

We have to try to watch all of these things as the Dr's don't seem to
understand the importance of vitamins as they relate to the death of the
doprimergic cells. They may never get it right, but we needn't let them
practice on us! Rob
