My sister went into the hospital yesterday, and is there still, after a miserable 24 hours of being frozen, with increasing pain in her kidney area. The docs in the hospital (not her usual PD specialist) think she's overmedicated (cinamet, comtan) and have backed her off (she's miserable again). Her specialist from Detroit, big shot PD guy in the midwest, says pour it on, give her more. Some sort of fight is brewing, maybe it's overdue. Question for you all: does vomiting (no history of it, barely anything in her besides crackers and Sprite) follow in some sort of progress, or was she overreacting to the meds because she didn't have enough in her stomache (hasn't happened before)? What does kidney pain tell you? Please give me your two cents worth. I'm going back to the hospital tomorrow at 5:30am. Thanks much.
