I've had PD since 1980 and I'm only 54. And the worst symptom is fatigue. Before I had a special surgery I would sleep as much as 18 hours a day and a lot of that was during daylight. Now I am much better but tiredness is still a major factor. In my case it does not appear to be medically induced. Rather it was 1 of the first symptoms; fatigue set in before any medications were prescribed.
