Hi! Roberto:
I am 69 yrs old. I have been having symptoms of PD for the past 35 yrs
or so on top of ET which has been around a lot longer than that.. When I
was diagnozed 3 years ago with PD, my first concern was the side effects of
sinemet, eventhough the recent studies claim that sinemet does not cause
diskenesia. I have so far managed without any prescription drug. I take
phosphatidyl serine, Ce Q10, reducd glutathione in addition to folic acid,
B12 and Vit E etc. If you look at the literature, except CoeQ10, everything
else have some sort of side effects, including sinemet, comtan, amantadine,
Mirapex, Requip etc.
But, then what works forone person may not work for others. You should
consult your doctor, before you do anything.
    Good luck!
    Raj
