I've had PD for over 25 years. The first several years were really bad for
dyskynesia and bad balance. I've tried just about every PD drug available..
most of which gave me side effects worse than the PD. I have had bilateral
Palladotomy with great results. (Almost symptom free for five years with the
exception of dystonia in arm and left leg.)

Now, I'm starting to get pain as a result of the dystonia. The pain
increased in intensity in a very brief period of time. It is significant,
and I have had to resort to heavy duty pain control, and actually had back
surgery thinking that there might be a correlation. I have seen
Chiropractors, had a series of nerve blocks, did physical therapy, used
anti-inflammatories.... without much success.

Has anyone else had this type of pain ( it is similar to severe cramping or
"Charlie Horse"), and, if so, what are you doing for pain control?
Thanks Rick
