NEW YORK, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The Michael J. Fox Foundation for
Parkinson's Research (MJFF) announced today that it has awarded 11
grants totaling over $2.6 million to researchers investigating the
role of protein degradation in Parkinson's disease. The Foundation
exceeded its original $2 million commitment to the initiative in
response to the number of high caliber projects proposed by an
international pool of 57 applicants.
