Congress is being requested by the Bush administration to slash funding
for the NIH as they try to pass overdue Appropriations bills for FY 2003.
This will place thr progress being made in Parkinson's and other medical
research in jeopardy.

What you can do:

1.please see: AN OPEN PLEA TO THE 108th CONGRESS & ITS CONSTITUENTS
“And The Clock Keeps Ticking” by Peggy Willocks at:
www.grassrootsconnection.com

2. Please post your comments on the subject.

3. Urge your Representatives and Senators to support $27.3 billion in
funding for the NIH, which will complete Congress’ promise to double the
NIH budget by FY 2003, and to fulfill their commitment to medical
research.
