Ditto, Bob, except for where you say,

I believe that he is not sincerely adhering to his ideology--he lacks the capacity or the depth, in my opinion--he is simply playing politics by extorting and capitalizing on those whose ideology it truly is--to the detriment of millions of people, some of which are on this list.

I disagree vehemently!  While it is not appropriate to discuss the
President's economic, foreign or other policies, it is entirely appropriate
to discuss his policies which directly impact those of us with Parkinson's
Disease.  President Bush has repeatedly made uneducated statements and has
repeatedly initiated policies against stem cell research and therapeutic
cloning. He is guided by ideology rather than by science and medicine and he
has been counterproductive to finding a cure for PD. It is critical that we
educate ourselves and discuss this here.
