Raj,
Again, you are on the right track ..... I would stick my nose in and say
that one should limit sugar consumprtion as sugar interferes with calcuim
absorption. We also need a bit of Vit D for all of this to work ..... I
personally use the liquid "Cal/Mag+" by "Kal" as it contains the Vit D etc.
in the proper ratios.

As far as the sleep apnea goes - personal experience - pulse ox was at 42
many many times during the night and never wnt above 80! I use a CPAP
with added oxygen, and warm humidity ..... it really works and I am alert
for many hours during the day not to mention that I am now able to sleep
through "most" of the night (being a night owl at heart).

I get the feeling that this is an often overlooked item when others in my
support group are in their neuros offices. I would appear that they are too
busy following that textbook established protocol for dealing with PD. A
recording oxcimiter is an easy overnight test that can be done at home to
see if further study is appropriate ..... If you don't ask or don't know
what to ask, you won't get the answer you need. Strange how we need oxygen
"in addition" to sinemet to survive?

Wow February is almost here and I am marking another anniversary of being
free of "PD Meds" and I keep feeling better every day. Oh, yes, I still
enjoy many of the "symptoms" on the off days and times, but I feel better
in that I am not causeing damage down the road just to mask my
riggormortis like life.

Just a thought, Rob
