I agree. I once made a constructive comment on this list that some did not consider supportive of their political persuasion. I was immediately called names and made to feel unwanted. If one states an opinion there should always be respect for the other side. We learn from diversity. To question in an intelligent manner the details of a position and to offer strong logical support of a position can be helpful to all to. We need to stay focused on the facts. Letting emotions run rampant can make you feel better but it cannot make a difference. This list should try to make a difference not a political statement. There are many lists to make political statements and there is nothing wrong with them but there is so much good material here let's not bury it with Democratic or conservative feel good statements. Let us also remember this list is hosted by our wonderful neighbors and close friends in Canada. We need not clog it with American politics. Let's live in peace with all and respect for all.
