Roberta, Eldepryl was the second drug added by my doctor (1998). I can see no problems except that you cannot take it less than 6 hours before bedtime. I have been using it for 4 years, mostly two 5mg doses a day. It is a powerful anti-oxidant that extends the value of the cardiadopa/levadopa several months maybe years. There is at least one brand of generic available.
