Thank you Paul for finally telling the other side of the story!!! I do not
normally respond to these issues, but I had to praise you for having said what
you said! It needed to be said, the anti-war people need to know the rest of
the story as Paul Harvey says. As the wife & mother of 2 boys now in the
Military, one on his way over there, I cannot understand the minds of the war
protesters. My husband who's had PD for over 12 years fought in 2 wars &
although I realize that some of this money being spent could go to help people
in our own country - PWP, the poor et al - what will it be worth if our freedom
is lost. This man is evil, there's enough proof of that with history, what he's
done to his own people & continues to do & what he's done to his neighboring
countries. He may not have directly taken part in 9/11 but I personally am
convinced that he does back the terrorist organizations throughout the world,
he's just about admitted that. We are not going to stop terrorism by being the
good guys, someone has to stop these people, I'm sorry it always has to be us
but it seems we're just about the only nation, a few others yes are standing
with us, who want to protect our own from these insane terrorists who care
nothing about freedom, their lives or any others. No I don't want to see my
son get hurt or worse killed but I know he is very willing to die to protect
his family & his country - OUR COUNTRY - from terrorism & as Pres. Bush clearly
stated, they do have enough information to justify an attack & no we as
civilians DON'T need to know it all. I was appalled when our son was also over
in Desert Storm, the day the war broke out, when thanks to the media reporting
I knew EXACTLY where he was at all times, if I knew than so DID the bad guys.
We as civilians know way too much, just remember people if we know so do all
the terrorists world wide.

I know I'll hear back from some of you on the other side, but remember since
this is not the place to discuss these things I will not respond anymore to
anything on this subject, not on the main list, but Paul's letter deserved a
list answer not just a private thank you from a PD care-giver. Peace to all, &
by the way, I really do enjoy all the information, not political however, on
this list, it's been very helpful to me as a care-giver.
