Lucy, I have had PD for 12 years, but I don't have tremors. I do have rigidity, slowness, and poor balance. I have had DBS two years ago. I think for manual dexterity and PD, my advice would be not to frustrate yourself trying a task until you feel your meds kick in. Otherwise, you try harder and harder until you can't do it at all. I try to keep my mind active. Read, watch the news, do puzzles, then take a deep breath........feel relaxed.......now try it. It's easier to give advice than to take it. I hope this helps.
