Our 16 year old was recently diagnosed as possibly having Dopa Responsive Dystonia or Parkinson's disease. We are in the process of getting an appointment with a movement disorder specialist for a second opinion and a definitive diagnosis. I am looking for as much information as I can about Parkinson's in a teenager, and came here for help. I am trying to learn as much as possible so that when we see the specialist, we will know what questions to ask, etc. Last night I purchased "When Parkinson's Strikes Early," which has been a wonderful help so far. Can anyone give me specific websites, newsletters, etc. that I can look for that would deal with Parkinson's in a teenager? Thanks so much in advance for any help anyone can give me.
