Hello,
My husband, dx approximately 3-4 yrs ago, just increased his dopamine
agonist Requip to 5mg 3x/day. He just finished a course of PCN and I
noticed an increase of his symptoms while on it, balance and tremor got
worse. This was not the first time it happened, but his symptoms improved to
pre- antibiotic tx after he stopped the last course of antibiotics. Hope the
same happens this time. We've been trying to hold out before he starts
Sinemet, he tolerates his symptoms and forges full steam ahead. He started
with Eldepryl then dropped that after about 1.5 yrs and started dopamine
agonists. Has anyone begun with small doses of Sinemet while on Requip and
could you please tell me your experience?
Thanks Very Much,
Patricia
