Joan Snyder,
Would you either post again, the letter you wrote to the Parkinsn Listserve,
that you refer to below, or send it to [log in to unmask]

Maria James, 41, diagnosed at 32, is very active in her church and she will
be on the radio show this Friday, World Parkinson's Disease Day (press
release copied below). I would like her to see your letter. Her church has
been very supportive and has printed information about workshops and the
radio show in their bulletin.

We would like to put your letter on our web site along with the information
we have posted about the Pipeline Project and so forth. Lonnie Ali did an
interview for us today for the show and we are trying to coordinate with
former Attorney General Janet Reno, who has also agreed. Mary Baker, the
president of the European Parkinson's Disease Association has also agreed to
a telephone interview. We are trying to coordinate times for that interview.
We have a call and e-mail request in to Michael J. Fox.

Bill Harrington, the poet who collaborated on "With Parkinson's, Don't Order
the Soup," sent the release to his town newspaper, and they printed an
article about the radio program. Again, the best person to contact would be
the Medical/Health Editor. Please see press release copied below.

Thank you,
Alison Landes
