Hello, fellow traveler from Nigeria --

From your description it does sound highly likely that you have PD. The
internet is a great source of information and it's great that you have access.

You are right to want to see a neurologist. If you can find a movement
disorders specialist, that would be best.

About the tests you are undergoing: one thing I was screened for was Wilson's
disease. It's a simple blood test. You might ask your doctor.

Regarding Sinemet: there are other drugs to consider as well. Check the
archives on the PIEN site for lots of discussion.

To have PD at 36 is daunting...but as you say, it can be managed. You sound
very resourceful and upbeat. These qualities will be extremely helpfull as
you navigate the tricky waters of life with PD.
