Dear Joan,

In lieu of sending a box of kleenex I will tell you that indeed it does
a lot of good for you "to get up each morning and
put on a positive attitude and come in here, sit at the computer and
start to work the phones, hoping against hope that i can help to stop
this." You have no idea how you have touched me and I'm sure countless
others with your messages of hope and tireless efforts on behalf of
PWPs everywhere. I don't have Parkinson's but my dearest friend does
and I have often printed out your messages for her to read to give her
hope. You have encouraged her many times without even meeting her! I
can't feel your pain but I can surely see it in my friend. It is
depressing for the caregiver but I know that is so weak compared to the
level a PWP can sink. My point is, you have and will continue to have
a very important role in our handling of, fighting and enduring this
dreaded affliction. I thank you and I know others will too for the
hope you provide. Keep up the good fight! God bless you, Joan.
