Oh boy, Roger!

I'm right with Laura on this one! There's probably nothing nearer to the
"writing centre part of my heart" than issues to do with the teaching of reading
and writing in elementary/secondary schools. Like Laura, I'm not at all sure
whether or not I'll be going to San Antonio next year - but like Laura, I'd be
glad to lend my support, and my name, to any proposal that would address writing
achievement, and teacher preparedness to facilitate writing achievement, in
Canadian schools.
