I have agreed to organize two sessions for the Medieval and Renaissance Drama Society next year, and am therefore requesting abstracts for the following: 1. Kalamazoo, May 2004 "Itinerant players in the sixteenth century" The plan for this session is _not_ to focus on major travelling companies, but on the evidence for individuals and small (unlicensed?) companies. Abstracts dealing with English and continental sources are both welcome. The time frame can easily be expanded backwards if there are papers dealing with the fifteenth century. 2. Leeds, July 2004 "The use of music in early drama" Richard Rastall has agreed to act as respondent for this session, and I will therefore ask that completed papers be submitted to him by mid-May 2004. Please let me know if you have any questions about these two sessions. David -- David N.
