Thanks Paula.  Everyone I talk to says to delay Sinemet, it seems because of
the inevitable side affects which could be more debilitating.  I keep going
back and forth, delay, not to delay.  Then there is always the chance I won't be
able to take that either.  I will be 53 in July, diagnosed in May, 2002.  It
has only affected my left side so far.  Doctor says it's very mild.  I told
him that's because he doesn't have it.  He said if I were 10 or even 20 years
older, he still wouldn't prescribe it because my symptoms aren't bad enough.  Do
you still take it even after DBS?
