Hello Delena,

I think your husband's situation may be related to Sinemet. Has he ever tried to change
the time of the medication he is taking? Ulceratis or gastiritis don't cause such severe
symptoms. How often does he take medication and can it be more than he needs? Sometimes
too much dyskinesia may cause such symptoms since every patient's reaction is different
to Sinemet.
He may have to have endoscopy to eliminate symptoms related to gastrointestinal system.
I suggest that you should go to gastrologist and have him checked and eliminate this
side.
Before he takes his medication in the morning, he should try to have breakfast and see
if it works well.
Yes, protein has some kind of interaction with PD medication but not this way. Protein
just makes medication inactive to some degree. That's all... Does he have any food
allergy? This may be a problem. People can develop allergies any time at any age and
there are many kinds of allergies such as wheat and wheat products. He may have
developed some kind of allergy. You may try him eat one type of food at a time and see
if it works. He may eat small amounts and more courses.
I wish you and your husband good luck.

Regards
Yesim
