Dear Maxine, Perhaps my words were a little bit harsh but I make no apology because I accepted Linda's e-mail as an honest summary of her situation, as we should all have done. She mentioned what she had taken but did not attempt to promote the sales of the products, she simply said that she had chosen to act as an agent for the company. Why are we not capable of universally sharing her happiness at being able to lead a relatively normal existence again instead of suspecting her as being a salesperson for Herbalife. As for those members who wrote to you off-line as a consequence of my email to you and Audrey, I feel they are spineless. If they have something to say about me they should say it publicly. I have no idea how Herbalife market their Products, nor their revenues but are they any worse than say Fortis Pharmaceuticals who this past week announced a 'new' drug for the treatment of PD in such a manner that it was designed to raise hopes, therefore create demand to increase their already obscene sales (> $20 billion per annum, retaining >18% Net Profit), only to learn that it's a repackaging of existing drug's, drug's which offer no cure and cause side-effects. As a major group of PWP's and CG's I think we should assess every possible alternative therapy, remedy etc. that we can and decide it's place and value. If it help's make it known through the numerous PD Links, equally if it's a scam publicly expose it and loudly.
