My understanding is that Rasagaline will come onto the market
before this year is over. My wife has participated in several studies and
she has found it very helpful. With rasagaline and Comtan we have been able
to reduce her sinemet inputs by a half and at the same time reduce her
dyskinesia. We have added the Comtan after we began the rasagaline and I
believe that both have been of great advantage. Of course, the PD continues
on its relentless march but these drugs have helped.
