I missed the start of this thread, but here's my short story: With three people (of seven) in my family with PD, and fatigue being a heavy part of my life, I went in for a sleep test. Instead of finding apnea, for which I exhibited lots of symptoms, they found I had restless leg, but only when asleep. Imagine how thrilled I was when the doc suggested Sinemet. I'm on clonazepam, to keep my brain from being roused out of stage 3 & 4 sleep (the restfull, REM kind), so I get better rest. Cautiously, it seems to be helping. I don't help any by getting up at 4am to beat the rush hour traffic. But the test numbers said I was spendin .4% of sleep time in 3 and 4, vs. 18% for a 'normal' sleep cycle. Makes a difference. Good luck to you.
