---- Forwarded Message ---- Dear Friends, REED PATRONS, PERFORMANCES AND PLAYING PLACES Records of Early English Drama announces the launch of a new web site which will make available all information about professional performers, their performances, their patrons and their places of performance in provincial England before 1642. The URL is: http://eir.library.utoronto.ca/reed This is a pilot version of the site, containing data for the county of Lancashire only. Further data will be added for the first 18 volumes published in the REED series by December 2004 and further developments are planned for the site. The site already includes an interactive map of England before 1642, from which users can find information about routes, distances travelled, topography and other features relevant to travelling performers. We invite you to visit! Your comments will be most welcome, and can be e-mailed directly from the site.
