way to go mary ann...about a year ago a couple of us finally facilitated the opening of an adult day care in our part of town and worked with two established agencies, one already doing awesome adult day care and the other a family service agency with loads of potential clients. needless to say we are thrilled that though they opened in january with two days a week, they are now adding two more days because of the demand and good reputation. often we think we want to stay home all day but find out that not only are we feeling better around other people and actually having some fun, often some degree of cognitive function returns. it's a fabulous way to go. linda, there are also adult day health care centers and they generally accept medicaid...but they are more focused on medical issues than social. the adult day cares are often specifically for people with memory impairment. good luck maxine ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:[log in to unmask] In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn
