My heart goes out to you.  It is so difficult to watch someone change so
drastically and be helpless to do anything about it.  Especially when they
don't realize what is happening.  PD is very nasty that way.
Have you tried Benadryl?  It can be purchased OTC and has a calming and
sleep-inducing effect on many people depending on how many  are taken.  My
husband is a young onset PD sufferer but often uses it to relax, and it
often helps him drift off to sleep if he takes more than one.  It seems to
have few side effects.
Also, consider  a second opinion if you have only seen one MD.
