Well, you can penny pinch, but usually that gets you "pinched".
You should activate or upgrade, or you can get a free scan
The trouble with "free" stuff is simple.  It is never really "Free"
They either advertise a mess
of stuff to you all the time, and also they dont make enough money to
be on the cutting edge of fighting the latest viruses, and thus fall short
of giving you what you need.
 So I dont recommend them. Unless someone else out there has had
great experience with that free stuff.....and thats possible.
I use Nortons System Works, and Nortons Firewall, and I have not
been infected, although I have been hit alot.
