for weeks now, to sit and write something witty and inspirational and at least entertaining about your experiences lately, murray....but now that everyone has had their say (and i could never out do the tribute to you from Margaret Tuchman!!) there seems little left to say except to tell you that you have been in my prayers and mentioned when i offer up the pain that seems to be zapping all of my energy lately. and now it is your birthday and before i go offline for a few days (carpet is being torn up in my office & hardwood floors laid so that i can use my wheelchair all thetime now), i wanted to say that youth is a gift but age is an art. thank you for finding everything that i need to know to be a responsible pd patient and activist...your gift to us is overwhelming. as for your sad commentary on the state of the conscience of the criminal mind, Jo Ann, please let me tell you about an incident that happened in peoria. after the Alzheimer's Memory Walk in downtown peoria, the money (over $70,000 was collected, i believe) was stored at the Alzheimer's office safe. someone broke in that night and stole it all. as my girlfriend holly and i were in an elevator talking about this outragious and horrendeous crime against all humanity, a little girl who was riding with us, looked at us and in her best "new-age" hip voice said: "wow, can you imagine that person's karma?" and it occured to me, that john lennon was right; "Instant Karma's gonna get you!" your bravery and helpful info to the police stopped these two-well, i won't tell you what i think they are but it is atonomically correct! from preying on more helpless and disabled folks. thank you for everything you did for the human family . joan -- ÐÏ à¡± á ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:[log in to unmask] In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn
